During the CEMEP General Assembly, held in Istanbul last 19 November, Joerg Hassmann – Head of Product Lifecycle Management at Siemens Motion Control Systems – was elected as the new President of CEMEP.

His appointment marks the beginning of a new term aimed at strengthening the industry’s role and reinforcing the dialogue with European institutions.

“CEMEP is representing a European key industry. Our products and systems offer a decisive lever for improving electrical energy efficiency. We will promote this in a very target-orientated approach together with competitiveness and growth opportunities.”
